Latest ADES news

It is end of another very challenging week and a term and time like no other.

Local Authority staff around the country have been working non stop with partners to ensure we maintain necessary service and critically continue to look out for our most vulnerable. There some amazing examples that are seen and many many more that go unheralded.

This Website continues to be an easily accesible platform to keep Members well informed and share the latest news. Generic items and video clips (see Dumfries and Galloway) will appear in this News section. You can also check the very latest from all major organisations by going to logos/links on the main page.

Local exemplars and local Website updates appear in the Secure Area. This is still a good way to share and generate  new ideas and perhaps even save some work and thinking. In the last 24 hrs  posted up has been, among other things, some early fourth term thinking from Perth and Kinross and a Hubs manual sent in by Abersdeenshire.

We are all learning to use tecnology to better effect and using innovative approaches to keep in touch. This week we held our first virtual Directors meeting  where Carrie Lindsay was able to share the latest on ongoing conference calls with Scottish Government and others as well as gather items to be raised and pursued. Steven Quinn has organised a virtual CAQ meeting for Tuesday morning.  Many of you will be using Teams and Glow to effect.

Keep safe but in touch.
