ARC Scotland is delighted to share with you two groundbreaking new resources.
As someone involved closely with the work of ARC Scotland, you are welcome to use and share both of these now, ahead of a formal launch in June.
Our Knowledge Hub and new e-learning platform are for all practitioners and policymakers looking to improve the experiences of young people with additional support needs in their transitions to adulthood.
The Knowledge Hub is a one-stop shop with everything you need to get to grips with transitions and improve your practice. You can use it to:
· Search for legislation and guidance relevant to your sector
· Browse resources by category
· Explore case studies and real life examples
It’s comprehensive already, but we want to keep adding to it. So please help make it the best it can be by telling us about any reports, research or resources you’ve found useful or good to share with others – the Knowledge Hub belongs to all of us!
You’ll also want to check out our new e-learning platform, designed to bring high quality, free-to-access, practical training direct to your device. Our pioneering one-hour Introduction to Transitions course equips professionals from all sectors with the skills and knowledge to support young people, and their families, as effectively as possible. It’s perfect both as an overview for those new in post, or a refresher for anyone who wants to check they are up to date with the latest information and guidance.
If you aren’t already, why not join the Scottish Transitions Forum? That way you’ll stay up to speed with our work and help us keep improving transitions for everyone.
Best Wishes,
Lauren Eliott Lockhart MSc (she/her)
