Scotland’s National Centre for Languages (SCILT) is a Scottish Government-funded centre within the University of Strathclyde’s School of Education. All professional learning offered by the centre is completely free of charge for educators working in the Scottish state school sector.
Drawing on the latest research and thinking in languages education—and showcasing examples of innovative practice from classrooms across Scotland and beyond—SCILT supports practitioners in turning theory and policy into classroom practice that makes a real impact on learners.
